Columbia Aged Care Services is a private health care group offering residential aged care facilities in a number of locations across Sydney. We focus on the care, comfort and consideration of our residents. We provide them with the highest quality health care, respect their individuality and assist them to maintain their health and wellbeing.

Opened in 2006, the Willowood Centre is a state-of-the-art facility located in Chatswood. It takes advantage of innovative technology and building design ensuring residents the highest quality of care, comfort and consideration.

The 90-place centre caters for 64 high-care and 26 low-care residents in a mix of single and twin share rooms. Respite care is offered at both care levels and residents with dementia are catered for.

The lounge and dining areas on each floor have a garden view, and also overlook the wonderful central atrium. On the ground floor; residents can see the chef and staff at work through the kitchen window.

So that family can easily stay in touch, each resident has access to the connection of a telephone and internet service. They also have a wall mounted LCD television which is individually controlled from the bedside handset. All bedrooms and communal areas have controlled air conditioning.

The beautiful Magnolia Room caters for families when a quiet area for discussion or reflection is needed; it can also be sued by all faiths when people gather together at special times.
Willowood offers easy transport for residents and their families. It is only 10 minutes walk from Chatswood bus and train stations and 10 minutes from Artarmon transport.

Care, Comfort and Consideration
Columbia Aged Care Services facilities provide a wide range of care and service depending on individual needs. In particular, we provide quality care to those with special needs.

We are proud to say that our Accreditation Standards surpass the government standards in many areas. One of the ways we achieve this standard is through extensive ongoing consultation with residents, families and staff.

We offer residential aged care accommodation including low care; high care and respite care (including emergency respite); residents with dementia are also catered. There is a mix of single and shared rooms and all centres are secure.

Each of our centres meets the needs of their local community. Columbia is committed to recognising and respecting the cultural diversity of all of our residents.

Each day of the week offers new and varied activities ranging from in-house fitness and craft classes, through to special morning teas and day trips to community events and activities. Each of our centres has lovely gardens which are a favourite for residents and their families to relax and enjoy.
